Parker TechSeal ParFab catalog is your one stop resource for materials, design, and profile options that make up Parker TechSeal's extruded products. Profiles can be purchased as cut-to-length, footage or spliced. PSA backing is an available option. Not shown, are custom extruded washers that are range from micro to 19" in diameter. Often there are no tooling cost for the cut washers.
About Parker TSD: Parker TSD specializes in extruded rubber products. They got their start as JBL, specializing in extrude and cut washers in various rubber compounds and santoprene. They are tooled in ID & OD combinations up to 3", thus there isn't any tooling charges. They utilize high speed cutters to produce millions of precision cut washers on a daily basis.
In the 1990's, they began extruding various shapes and providing them as cut-to-length parts, footage and spliced rings - & four corner gaskets. One key advantage is being able to provide the profiles as hollow o-rings, omega(s) and other hollow profiles. Hollow profiles provide low closure force properties similiar to sponge rubber but without the compression set issues that are often seen with the use of sponge.
Parker TSD expanded their size capabilities with the purchase of Goshen Rubber Company in the early 2000's. Goshen can produce lathe cuts up to 19" OD. Also, they can produce lathe cuts that have various profiles (i.e u-cup profile, "D" rings, etc.). |
Parker ESD custom molds rubber and assemblies with rubber bonded to metals or other materials. Their broad range of products are use in life science, micro-E, transportation, and aerospace to name a few. There sweet spot is with medium to high volume parts. They have a team of expert engineers and chemist ready to aid The Seal Group @ Gatlin Corporation in developing a solution for you.
About Parker ESD: They specialize in molded rubber products. They offer a wide range of compounds that meet NSF, U.L., FDA, and other approvals. They can provide rubber-to-metal bonded parts as well. Their value lies in their engineering and material development. Parker ESD offers FEA services that can reduce product development cost and increase the success of prototype to production. |
