FOLLOWING IS A BRIEF OUTLINE OF OUR PROGRAM

 

 

Packaging:  Each seal kit or component part is packed in a 3-4 mil thick poly bag and heat sealed to ensure parts are air tight and components cannot be lost.  A pressure sensitive adhesive label with your company’s logo or markings of your choice, and your kits part number or component part number is included on your label.  No repackaging is required.  Your end-user will only see your name and product information.  They will know that what they have paid for is a quality kit package that includes all seal components that have been specified, tested and approved by your engineering staff.

 

Product Integrity:  Gatlin Corporation will not make any substitutions to the seal components that are specified by your company or by your cylinder manufacture unless we have your approval.  However, we will offer engineering equals or better to the approved seal, to reduce costs, increase longevity, and improve performance.

 

J.I.T. AVAILABILITY:  With an agreement in place and based on your estimated annual usage requirements, Gatlin Corporation will commit to maintaining seal and kit component inventories sufficient for 60/90 days (or more if necessary) of you kit usage.  This will give your company the availability of parts “On Demand” and enable your company to reduce your seal component and kit inventories.  Drop shipments to your various dealers and/or end-user is also available.

 

Quality:  We take extreme precaution in identifying each part by engineering print specifications or sample kit or part for correct geometry and material compound.  This assures your customers of an engineered product that will work each and every time in their cylinder rebuild.  On all kits supplied from samples we recommend a prototype be approved in your facility or by Field/Dealer installation.  On kits for pumps and valves this run approval is mandatory, especially in rotary shaft applications.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Purchasing:  All purchasing functions will be the responsibility of Gatlin Corporation.  This will assure your Parts Distribution Center of on time deliveries and guaranteed price schedules.  Constant price changes, price solicitations, invoice discrepancies, expediting, etc. will now become our burden.

 

Price Stability:  With an agreement in place, Gatlin Corporation is willing to offer firm pricing on all of the quoted kits or parts over the period of a customer/vendor agreement of two (2) years.
